You don’t need a site but I believe you will be better off with one than without one. The reason is that having a site or blog will allow you to build a list, and the real power online is having a list of your own.

Charter membership is a monthly membership. Squeeze Page Today is a hosted service we provide and so can’t be hosted on your server. But we use Optimize Press and you can easily use OP on your own server.

Charlie, I would like to create a number of squeeze pages for popular (or recommended) products and services. Do you develop these and allow members to use them? Do you cover the methods of getting traffic to these pages? Traffic is my headache – with over a year of working on my site all I have is about 60 names on my aweber list. I know ezine articles is one way to go ( I have written about 10), but for the life of me, I can’t fathom why people would look at ezine articles for information on typical online products. I would simply do a google search and peruse a few of the page one results and go into the maze from there. Please elucidate me on the value of ezine articles. I’d like to offer more products and figure out the monster in the room – traffic or rather the lack of it. I will likely become a member. Can you give me a link to where all of the features of your membership site are outlined. You certainly give me the reassurance that you go the extra mile to help.

While I am a big believer in article marketing I’m not a big believer in relying on any site too much, including the excellent site by my friend Chris at EzineArticles.com That said, when you submit to them you get a link back from a highly respected site and you get better search engine visibility than most can get on their own. So it’s not a matter so much of people browsing over to EA.com and then reading articles but rather Googling and finding your article on their site that way. I teach this more deeply inside Article Marketing Live but that’s an overview.
To answer your question – at Follow Up Selling Systems we build and host 5 squeeze pages a month for every member for any product they want to promote. You choose the product, provide the copy and we build and host the page using one of our templates. I have an entire module (1 of the 7 modules) inside Follow Up Selling Systems about traffic. The O in F.R.E.E.D.O.M. Marketing Method stands for Optimize traffic, which is getting the optimal type of traffic to any site you promote using a combination of free and paid methods.

I suggest logging in to the Directory of Ezines and watching the Common Sense Internet Marketing webinar located in the Member Only Webinars area. It’s the best blueprint I know of for building a real online business.

First things first – thank you for being a member of the DOE. DOE membership does not entitle you to membership in Follow Up Selling Systems because these are completely separate sites. You do get the first 30 days free as a DOE member however so you can explore and use the site and decide if it’s right for you. I agree. Many have a blog but then no followup system. Something I know I need to do. Does follow up system then have one upsell after another in it then? Are there products in the system we can use to promote? I’m a member of DOE and always impressed with your work and genuine nature.
By the way does followup system work for any niche topic?
I have not seen a niche yet for which it does not work. The logic of it works across all niches in my experience.

If you mean do I upsell to members of Follow Up Selling Systems the answer is no. There is nothing more to buy from me in order to use Follow Up Selling Systems. You do need an autoresponder of course. But we even host the squeeze pages we build for members. I just havn’t been able to afford your service though ive known about it for a couple of years now. When you are on the internet a lot and you read and listen to all the different sales pitches, after a while you just want to go back and listen to someone you know you can trust, someone who is grounded and is not trying to sell to you as if their very existence depended on it. I think you really are a ‘light’ in a dark place Charlie, and you have certainly edified me since i first found your site.
